Ambisjes Rugs is a creative studio specializing in custom tufted rugs, walldecor, and other textile decor. We use a cut-pile tufting gun to handcraft each piece with care, passion, and attention to detail.

3. How are your products made?

All of our pieces are handmade using a cut-pile tufting gun. This technique involves punching yarn through a fabric base . We then glue and finish the back for durability. After that we level and carve the piece to give it dimension.

4. Can I request a custom design?

Absolutely! Custom orders are welcome. You can contact us through the page ''Your design''. Note that custom pieces cannot be returned.

5. How long does it take to make a rug or wall piece?

Production time depends on the size and complexity of the design, but generally ranges between 1 to 2 weeks. We’ll give you an estimated timeframe when you place your order. This does not involve shipping time, that has to be added to the estimated timeframe of making the piece.

6. What materials do you use?

We use high-quality acrylic yarns, tufting fabric, carpet adhesive and non-slip backing. To finish the edges we use a synthetic band to make it last for years to come.

7. Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ship to the US and The Netherlands. If your country is currently not available for shipping on our website we would like to ask you to contact us via info@ambisjesrugs.com so we can add your country to the shipping list.

8. How do I care for my tufted rug or wall hanging?

• For rugs: Gently vacuum twice a week. Spot clean with a damp cloth if needed.

• For wall art: Dust occasionally with a dry cloth.
  Avoid machine washing or soaking in water to preserve the glue, shape and quality.

9. Are your rugs suitable for high-traffic areas?

Our rugs are primarily decorative, but smaller pieces can be used functionally in low-traffic areas. For high-traffic spaces, we recommend using them more as wall art or accent pieces as they will flatten down and get dirty.
